Ripz Biography

The Hip Hip Hop group Ripz was made by Salar & Fritz in 2000. But at that time they didn’t call ‘em self Ripz. Just Salar & Fritz.
Late 2003 the name was created by Salar, and stands for Reflection In ProductionZ.

The Ripz' name has philosophical meaning which is that the group members are a reflection of each other, and that their work is a non-stop process on it’s way to a production. (example; When one of ‘em has an idea for a new record which’s about “your glow to shine”, the other one will have the beat ready in a matter of seconds).

And at the beginning of the year 2004 “Seizure” was signed in to the group, and they began working on a new album called “The Beginning”. And that was when the group created a new image and the new name “Ripz”.

Now the Ripz has their album out in stores and has created their own music style that they call “Hip Pop” -a mixture of modern Hiphop, Pop and R&B.
The group is of course still working on new tracks, and is touring around the country with a “kick ass” show.
Their music & lyrics is made by ‘em self, and recorded in their own studio called “S-Studio”.


The Ripz will now be available/booked for music arrangements and concerts, or music productions such as; Composing, producing and song writing of various projects. "Go to Contact"

And soon you will be hearing the Ripz on the radio and se them on TV, with help from their well-known music manager Mikkel Søby of “Noiz Music”/EMI.

What is the Ripz? Ripz stands for Reflection In ProductionZ. Not because we don’t create our own art. It’s just a modest and relaxed expression of our place in this world. Many people wanna be something special. We all do something to change our place.

We have made up the Ripz World. We are the Ripz people living in it. It’s not easy to explain how it looks in here when you as a visitor comes from, like another planet.   

Each day we change our planet and we experience something new. But in some way it feels like we weren’t the first who did. We still look like all the other planets in the galaxy. The space is not really eternal. We are just a distant reflection of the whole picture. But as we work behind the growing table of buttons we increase the size of our world and little planet and other planets will circle around us. The question is: will we ever need to change our name if it gets so far? What if it all becomes a reflection of our self?

We don’t know.

Actually we haven’t thought about that, which tells some about where we are now.
But what matters, is where we are going
